Hi Daniel,
Judging from the number of laptop sales in recent years, and the number
of help requests, it appears that more and more people are using laptops
these days and a large percentage of users who are going to try DBSD are
going to try it on their laptops.
You can help potential DBSD users take the plunge by adding a link to
the FLCL (http://gerda.univie.ac.at/freebsd-laptops/) in the Features
page under Hardware Requirements. The FLCL lists all the Laptop brands
and models where people have successfully installed FreeBSD.
As we are all aware, laptops are a great platform for testing DesktopBSD
and if people can get DesktopBSD to work on their laptops, they will
feel more confident about installing it on their desktops.
Laptop users also make great evangelists because they are more mobile
and can show DesktopBSD to more people in more locations.
Hey, what about forming another branch: LaptopBSD!! :)
