[Doc] DesktopBSD 1.0-Prerelease TESTING

The 1.0 prerelease is now available for testing. With this prerelease, 
translators have the chance to see their work "in action" and correct it 
until 1.0 is officially released. We also hope that some last bugs will be 
found and can be corrected for 1.0.

PLEASE NOTE that this prerelease is NOT a PUBLIC release. 1.0 will be
released soon, with additional x86 and amd64 DVD versions and some
last issues resolved.

Known issues
============

- cupsd doesn't start correctly when the system boots, therefore you
  can't configure/use printing. We're working on a solution.

- Under special circumstances, the package manager hangs after clicking "Yes"
  when asked to fix the package database. We already have a fix for this.

- Keyboard layout switching doesn't seem to work with Russian DesktopBSD.
  Using "us,ru" instead of "en_US,ru" as XkbLayout seems to do the trick.


Recommended tests for translators
=================================

- Is the language selected at installation time used for the
  configuration dialog when the system is started the first time?

- Proper keyboard configuration:
   - Is the correct keyboard layout used?
   - Are all keys working as expected?
  If you encounter keyboard problems, please check /etc/X11/xorg.conf and
  provide us with correct values for XkbModel, XkbLayout, XkbVariant and
  XkbOptions if possible.

- Is a KDE language package for your language included on the language CD?
  Can it be installed from the initial configuration dialog?

- Are the environment variables LANG and LC_ALL set correctly?
  Please log out and log in again with the same user at least once before
  doing the following from the command line:
    user at localhost$ echo $LANG
    user at localhost$ echo $LC_ALL
  If you think the used country/language code or char set is incorrect,
  please tell us the right one.
