Confirmed. http://svn.desktopbsd.net/trac/ticket/8

I consider this a rather small issue since almost every user has downloaded
the release from the English website and therefore has basic English
knowledge :) Solving this (creating a background image for each language)
would require more efforts than it's worth.

We found out the problem with the Norwegian translation is related to the LANG
and LC_ALL environment variables: http://svn.desktopbsd.net/trac/ticket/6

I for one think that virtual desktops should be enabled by default, but I
agree that two are sufficient.

I don't consider them very helpful, but at least you know where to search for
documentation. Removing these icons would require altering documentation
files in all languages since these icons are described there. If someone
wants to do that, I'll remove them :) By the way, integration of these
folders into the KDE help center would probably be good.
