[General] Installing programs in desktopbsd

Hi, I'm new in the world of Unix and I've some questions:

1 - I would like to mount my CD drive automatically when I insert a CD.
How can I do that?

2 - I want to install and update programs in the OS, but from the CD,
instead of having to download them. I've tried to run sysinstall and set
to my desktopBsd CD, but I get the message that it isn't the version
6.2-STABLE, which isn't true. This is my install CD.
How can I do that?

3 - Following the second question, I've tried to download the package,
although it isn't what I really want, but get an error that the FTP
server doesn't have a 6.2-STABLE version.
The URL that I used was ftp.freebsd.org.
