You might have noticed that using Ctrl+C to copy selected text from the package manager's terminal doesn't work. The reason is that the behaviour of Ctrl+C in terminals is “standardized”: it terminates the program currently running in the terminal.
But there is another way of copying text from the package manager: Simply select the text you want to copy using the mouse, then switch to the target application and click the middle mouse button right where you want to insert it (where you would place the cursor before pressing Ctrl+V).
Please Note: This works in most other applications, too!
